    Resource-evidence correctness release. This supersedes 0.2.1-jrich-4.

    Fixes:

    • whole-device GPU memory is labeled as device-scoped; a pre-execution baseline and observed device deltas are recorded without claiming process attribution;
    • local run disk evidence is refreshed after the client and retraining bundles are written;
    • unmeasured local evaluation values are null with an explicit not_measured status instead of fabricated durations and zeros;
    • hardware guidance is now 8 GB VRAM, 8 CPU cores minimum / about 16 recommended for the measured completion time, 32 GB RAM, and 40 GiB free.

    Downloads:

    • Linux x86_64 / WSL2: jrich-wakeword-trainer-0.2.1-jrich-5.tar.gz
    • Windows with WSL2: jrich-wakeword-trainer-0.2.1-jrich-5.zip
    • trainer-release-v1.json records immutable runtime and archive hashes
    • SHA256SUMS verifies every release asset

    The launcher pulls the public runtime by immutable digest:
    git.jimandkrista.com/jr-public/jrich-wakeword-training@sha256:e5854a420060c897d192cd6bb3d85fba079a521587ebc1f627691058fa34fd8a

    The exact image and archives passed non-root/read-only, checksum, metadata, permissions, and archive-only import gates. User phrases, generated speech, checkpoints, and ONNX outputs remain local.

    WSL/Linux portability and setup-integrity release. This supersedes 0.2.1-jrich-3.

    Fixes:

    • setup, preflight, and training run as the invoking WSL/Linux UID:GID;
    • legacy root-owned trainer cache/work files receive a narrowly scoped offline ownership repair;
    • setup downloads commit-pinned Hugging Face snapshots, verifies offline completeness, and checks explicit singleton sizes/SHA-256 values before sealing;
    • image and archive modes are deterministic and non-root-readable;
    • archive-only imports work from any working directory;
    • Windows users can start with start-windows.cmd, with documented process-only PowerShell policy handling.

    The launcher pulls the public runtime by immutable digest:
    git.jimandkrista.com/jr-public/jrich-wakeword-training@sha256:940abc406888079c33778b0c8c34ff594b97998a3ab1c7a09faa9acf4e3d6781

    Requirements remain Docker plus NVIDIA Container Toolkit, an NVIDIA GPU (12 GB VRAM recommended), 32 GB RAM recommended, and at least 40 GiB free. First setup downloads approximately 17 GB of reusable assets.

    The final image, tar, and ZIP passed non-root UID 12345 release gates. User phrases, generated speech, checkpoints, and ONNX outputs remain local.

    Corrected public launcher release for Local Training Experiments. This supersedes 0.2.1-jrich-2; the extracted start.sh path is now covered by an archive-level smoke test.

    • trainer-release-v1.json records the immutable runtime and archive hashes
    • SHA256SUMS verifies every release asset

    The launcher automatically pulls:
    git.jimandkrista.com/jr-public/jrich-wakeword-training@sha256:cef5b1e769a6160bbde69f67df76f0b865f02c27794a3da096398c18cc9a3c2f

    Requirements: Linux or Windows/WSL2, Docker with NVIDIA Container Toolkit, NVIDIA GPU (12 GB VRAM recommended), 32 GB RAM recommended, and at least 40 GiB free. First setup downloads approximately 17 GB of reusable LiveKit assets.

    The client bundle produced by training is the recommended package for another project. The retraining bundle is private, large, and unnecessary for clients.

    User phrases, generated speech, checkpoints, and ONNX outputs remain local. The public runtime and launcher contain no user data or credentials.

    Superseded by 0.2.1-jrich-3. The jrich-2 archives have an incorrect start.sh path after extraction; use the latest release instead. The files remain available only so published hashes and history are not rewritten.
